  • Specialising in the Machine Learning and Embedded Systems, Surya teaches part of a course in these subjects at Oxford University.
  • Being a coder, Surya developed microcontroller software and performed patient testing during his time at an Imperial College startup developing wearable devices to stabilise tremors, such as those caused by Parkinson's Disease.
  • Surya organises and presents at developer workshops in London, with a focus on Machine Learning frameworks including Tensorflow.
  • Surya achieved a Gold in the UK Senior Maths Challenge, awarded to the top 10%, and a Silver in the BPhO Physics Olympiad, awarded to the top 200 students in the UK.
  • At school Surya excelled and achieved the best GCSE results in his cohort, and was awarded prizes for outstanding achievement in the three sciences.
  • Surya hosted weekly disucssion sessions on various aspects of Eastern Philosphy, for the Imperial College Hindu Society.

Aside from Work:

  • Being a keen sports enthusiast, Surya plays football and cricket in and out of university.
  • Surya spends some of his spare time at university in the robotics lab in Imperial College, where he works on side projects.
