Experience and Accolades:

  • Haaris has worked as an Imperial College Vision Tutor for 3 years, teaching medicine, running mock interviews and working in outreach to motivate applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds. Additionally he is the Sponsorship Officer and works secures funds for such responsibilities.
  • Being the Imperial College Squash Academic Officer, Haaris organizes academic and practical clinical teaching sessions.
  • At school Haaris excelled, having acquired a Senior Scholarship owing to his achievements.
  • Haaris has tutored Science and Maths between 11 plus and AS Level standard for the past 3 years
  • Having been chosen to be one of ten Imperial students selected to be a part of the LKC Exchange Programme, Haaris studied first-hand the Singaporean Healthcare System.
  • Haaris has 2 published audits – one being “Endoscopic Mucosal Resection Data” for St Mark’s Hospital and the other entitled “Blood Tests – Are we Bleeding the NHS Dry?” which investigated inappropriate requests and their costs to our healthcare system.

Aside from Work:

  • As the tallest member of our team, Haaris is an excellent tennis player and was the Globe Tennis Club Junior Champion for 4 successive years.
  • Haaris is trilingual, being competent in English (fluent), Malayalam (fluent) and Japanese (Proficiency Level 4).
