Experience and Accolades:

  • Jagruti has considerable 11 plus tutoring experience – she formerly gave voluntary lessons to children aged 11-16 with learning disabilities to account for difficulties they were having at primary and secondary school, and tutored students of different ages and abilities in various subjects.
  • At school, Jagruti excelled and was awarded the O'Donovan Award for her academic achievement of best A-level results in her recent school's history.
  • Having voluntarily taught at the Vision Junior Conference as part of a Cardiology Workshop at Imperial, Jagruti ran advanced biology sessions for 11-18 year olds which elicited highly positive reviews.
  • As the President of Imperial College School of Medicine Dance Society, Jagruti has first-hand experience with organisation of sports and academic events.
  • Being a medical student, Jagruti has completed placements and assisted consultants at St Peters’ Hospital in a range of disciplines including Endocrinology, Surgery and Endoscopy.
  • Jagruti has completed an internship for a medical app company called DemDx, and is currently on their Medical Advisory Board.

Aside from Work:

  • Jagruti is a fond member of Imperial College Hindu Society and was Sewa Co-ordinator during her time on committee.
  • Jagruti is keen to learn languages and is trilingual with fluency in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
