Experience and Accolades:

  • For three years, Marston has been privately tutoring individuals alongside his medical studies, with an emphasis on A Level Maths and Physics.
  • Marston worked as the Senior Class Assistant tutoring students of all ages through Kumon, the international tutoring company, during his A Levels. He was given the role of Senior Class Assistant after demonstrating his organisational and tutoring ability.
  • Marston is an active member of the medical school admissions society, where he gives regular lectures and small group tutorials focusing on entrance exams and interview practice.
  • At his secondary school, Marston received multiple academic achievement awards, for both his GCSEs and A Levels.
  • In 2014 Marston was awarded the prestigious ‘Star’ Alumnus award at a ceremony in London, awarded to Marston out of the alumni from 32 separate colleges, reflecting his outstanding academic ability and other contribution during his time at secondary school.
  • In the summers, Marston leads disadvantaged primary school children on residential trips where he encourages children to step out of their comfort zone and work together as a team to solve challenging problems.

Aside from Work:

  • Marston has a keen interest in technology, which manifests in him being an active member of Imperial College’s Dramatic Society, where he designs elaborate lighting for the College’s stage performances.
  • He is also a keen cyclist and particularly enjoys cycling around the hills and sights of the Isle of Wight, which is where he is from.
